If you visited the homepage (TheTravelingo.com), you may have noticed a new map including some of my favorite places I have visited. Over the years, I have used Google Maps (almost religiously) to pin places I want to visit or have visited. This way I don't forget about that amazing Mexican Restaurant in Salt Lake City (Red Iguana), that picturesque spot overlooking Emerald Lake in the Rocky Mountains, or the tube rental spot on the Salt River (Salt River Tubing) that flows through the Tonto National Forest near Phoenix.
I plan on continuing to update this map state-by-state and then country-by-country to share some of my favorite places with you! As I'm writing this, I have updated the map with Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico (so far).
Here are some of the things you can expect from "The Map":
Restaurants - I'm not going to share EVERY restaurant that I've tried on my travels, just the good ones because I want to make sure that you are getting the best out of your trip!
Bars & Clubs - From classy cocktail joints to hole-in-the-wall dive bars, this category will include some of the best bars and clubs that I've ever visited.
Breweries - It's no secret that I'm a sucker for a good beer and I want to share some of my favorites of the 200+ breweries I've visited around the world.
Wineries - It could be for the delicious wine, the great atmosphere, or the beautiful location of the winery - whatever it is, it'll be worth visiting.
Coffee Shops - You're not going to find Dunkin' or Starbucks on this list, only the delicious and local fresh-brewed coffee spots.
Hiking & Camping - Whether you want to camp for a couple of days or just go for a long hike away from it all, these are some great spots to check out.
Activities - This one is going to be pretty much a "catch-all" of activities that I've enjoyed doing that don't fit in the other categories like snow skiing, casinos, drive-in movie theaters, museums, and more. Whatever it may be, it'll be worth your time (trust me).
Must-See - Get out your camera! This will be where you find that picturesque spot in the mountains, that historic building downtown, or that alleyway filled with amazing street-art.
Chad's Wishlist - Places I haven't been, but I can't wait to visit!
What do you think about "The Map"? Did I miss somewhere great? I'd love your feedback and any recommendations of places to try so I can add them to The Map.

Learning to read a map is more than directions it’s about pacing your journey, noticing landmarks, and choosing where to pause and explore. That kind of steady planning turns travel into a rhythm you can enjoy, much like complete my associate level course, a quiet nod to structured effort over rush. This blog makes navigation feel human and accessible.
I read your post about how to use the map and it was cool to see how the writer pins their favorite places and plans to grow the list of spots for food, coffee, hikes and more so readers can explore at a glance. It made me think of the time I was overwhelmed with a big paper and needed Expert editing for final law project because my draft was messy and unclear, and that help really helped me see what needed fixing. It reminded me that having a clear plan and honest support makes big tasks easier to handle.
I read the story about Warry the Warrior and it was inspiring how someone can keep going even when things feel really tough and scary. Last year when I had a big engineering project I once used help with engineering assignment because I needed clear help to understand hard steps and finish my work on time. It reminded me that you can grow stronger when you stick with challenges and get support.
